Swimming pools and bridges

Laminated timber is the natural choice for swimming pool structures. Visually pleasing, timber is suitable for the hostile environment of a swimming pool where other materials may rapidly deteriorate. With large spans easily cleared by straight or curved deep beams timber becomes the ideal material for this type of building.

Bridges up to 40m are possible using large section laminated beams. The limiting constraints are those imposed by transport and the individual manufacturer's facilities.
