The project required a close relationship between our designers and engineers due to the complexity of the building shape. In particular, tall wall panels were required to support central deep trussed rafter girders which were, in turn, designed to carry mono scissor trussed rafters. These timber components were manufactured off-site and constructed to form the large community hall and the smaller associated rooms.
