Many thousands of houses have passed through our design office since we were established - from simple starter homes to large 6 bedroom mansions with indoor swimming pool and snooker room.

Timber frame construction is now a regular and established method of building houses in the UK.

Homeowners prefer the reduced heating costs, improved sound insulation and lack of drying out cracking found in houses built using ‘wet’ methods of construction. NHBC certification can be provided. They are also becoming increasingly aware that timber is the only renewable structural building material and that using timber helps to reduce global warming.

The cycle of felling and planting is very beneficial to the atmosphere as it is only during growth that a tree absorbs CO₂ and gives off vital oxygen. Once a tree matures this process virtually stops.

Our designs always maximise the use of timber and limit the amount of less environmentally friendly material required.
